Joy Maureen Denalane (South African/German) known as Joy Denalane, is a German singer-songwriter, known for her mixture of soul, R&B, and African folk music with lyrics in German and English. In 2002 she released the album 'Mamani' (2002) with the song "Im Ghetto von Soweto" featuring Hugh Masekela.
