MEGASTARS in the U.S.----except for lack of U.S. recognition. Listen to his "4 a Minute"----it's "off the chain"! He's right up there with Neo, Maxwell, Musiq Soulchild, and, going waaaay back, Marvin Gaye. HE WAS BORN TO SING SMOOTH R. & B. LOVE SONGS!

Same goes for Awa Manneh; I hear a little bit of Janet Jackson, Eryka Baduh (sp.?) Beyonce, even; all the top stateside current Black female singing stars. Again, the only reason she (Awa) hasn't taken her rightful place at the top of the American charts is because of lack of promotion and recognition. Aisha, who speaks English in the beginning of the video, sings WITHOUT EVEN A TRACE of an accent. AMAZING! (Do I hear America calling???????)

Next year this time I want these names to be as popular as one-name phenoms like, Beyonce, Neo, Drake, and yes, even global music princess, Bajan native, Rihanna. It can happen----with the right promotion.

Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01896531632878621005noreply@blogger.com
